The Raleigh house
The second house. A long table off Hillsborough Street.
Raleigh gets the second house: a brick two-story a few minutes’ walk from the Belltower, a host family who have fed half of Hillsborough Street at one time or another, and a table that fills every Thursday with Wolfpack who did not know each other in August.

Where to find us
A short walk north of the Belltower and the Brickyard, on a quiet side street off Hillsborough. Wolfline stops two blocks away; most people walk from main campus or ride over from Centennial.
The host family
A Raleigh couple, both State alumni, with a porch built for arguments and a kitchen that has never once run out of food. They will know your major by the second dinner and your midterm schedule by the third.
Getting there
- On foot: ten minutes from the Belltower, north across Hillsborough.
- By bus: Wolfline routes along Hillsborough Street stop within two blocks.
- By car: street parking on the side streets after 6 pm. Leave the driveway for the host family.
Every conservative member of the Pack on campus has a seat at the table. Membership is verified simply, so the table stays genuine.
A week at Raleigh
Come to any of it. Most people start with Thursday and work outward.
- Thursday, 7:00 pm
Weekly dinner. Catered properly. RSVP in the app, no agenda.
- Sunday, 5:00 pm
Formation session in the front room. Pillar One this term: logic and rhetoric.
- Game days
Watch parties on the porch, and a cookout when the Pack is at home.
- Fall and spring break
The retreat, shared with the other houses. Three days, one lodge.
The three things people ask
- Do I need to RSVP?
- Yes, by Wednesday noon, so the host family knows how many are coming. Your first time, the form on this site is the RSVP; we will reply with the address. After that it is one tap in the app. Bringing a friend? Put them on your RSVP so there is a plate.
- I am on Centennial Campus. Is it worth the trip?
- Yes, and you will not be the only one. A good share of the table rides over from Centennial every week. Dinner runs long enough that nobody is watching the clock.
- Is there a cost?
- None. Dinner is free, always. Trips carry a small cost that points can cover.
