The story in three beats

Prepared, not protected

Odysseus did not plug his own ears and he did not turn the ship around. He got ready, and he sailed straight through.

The Voyage

The currents are real

Four years is long enough to change what a person believes about everything. We say that plainly, without alarm. The pull is strong because it comes from people you like, in rooms you want to belong in. Knowing that is the first advantage.

The Crew

Nobody sails alone

A house near campus with the lights on. A table with your name at it. Friends who think hard and laugh loud, and a host family who notices when you have had a hard week. Belonging is the rope that holds you to the mast.

Ithaca

Come out whole

You graduate sharper than you arrived. Able to hold your own in any room, calmly and on the merits, with a character people can trust and friendships that outlast the diploma.

Sing to me of the man, Muse, the man of twists and turns, driven time and again off course
Homer, The Odyssey
What we offer

A home, not a club

Everything here is built around one idea. People change when they are fed, known, and taken seriously.

See it all

The House

The center of everything

A beautiful home walking distance from campus, anchored by a host family. A warm, established local couple who open their doors, keep the kitchen running, and learn every name that comes through it.

Weekly Dinners

The easy first step

No commitment and no agenda. Just a great meal, catered properly, with people who get you. Every conservative student on campus is welcome at the table. Come for the food, stay for the people.

Formation Sessions

Small groups, real depth

Weekly and biweekly sessions in the living room. Learn to think clearly, argue well, and carry yourself with confidence. Three pillars, four years, taught by people who love the material.

Retreats and Trips

The peak of the year

Multi-day retreats over academic breaks, plus trips and tours through the year. High-production, unforgettable, and where the deepest friendships get made. Ask anyone who has been.

Mentorship

Someone in your corner

One-on-one guidance from mentors and host families. For a hard class, a hard argument, a hard semester, or figuring out what comes next. Plus year-round chat support, a real person to think things through with, any time.

The App

The community in your pocket

Events and RSVPs, a content library, messaging with the crew, and a points game with real rewards. Climb your campus leaderboard and the national one.

This is what a year looks like

Dinners you look forward to. Arguments that go long. A porch in September and a ridge at sunrise in January.

The Formation

Not just sharper arguments.A stronger you.

Three pillars, taught in small groups in the living room by people who love the material. This is the part you will still be using at forty.

  • I

    The Reasoning Mind

Think clearly. Argue well. Never get talked out of something true.

  • II

    Knowing the World

Understand the ideas that shape your campus, and the ones that built the country.

  • III

    The Whole Person

Not just sharper arguments. A stronger you.

The crew, in their words

I came for free food in September and by October it was the best night of my week. I have never had friends who argue with me this hard and still save me a seat.
Caroline B.Junior, Chapel Hill
Freshman year I lost every argument I cared about. Now I do not need to win them. I can just be right, calmly, and let it sit there.
Miles T.Sophomore, Raleigh
The host family had us over for Thanksgiving when I could not fly home. That is the part I did not expect and the part I will not forget.
Ana R.Senior, Winston-Salem

For parents

Sending a student to college?

Introduce them to us. A warm house, a host family, real mentors, and one very good meal a week is a better freshman year than most students get.
